Development of codes of practice (TPG, TDG, TIN)
Within the meaning of point 3.1 of the ČSN EN 45020 standard, technical rules are normative documents containing codes of practice under point 3.5 of ČSN EN 45020. They are being developed on the basis of consensus and adopted at the level of the industry by an independent approval commission, in which the bodies and organisations concerned are represented. They have the nature of publicly available documents drawn up with the cooperation of concerned interests by consultation and consensus procedures. As of the time of their approval, they are regarded as rules of technology acknowledged by the above bodies and organisations as reflecting the state of the art under point 1.5 of ČSN EN 45020.
In terms of legislation, technical rules are provided for in the Energy Act.
The process of the development of codes of practice is subject to the Guidelines for Planning, Developing and Approving Codes of Practice of the Chamber of Economy of the Czech Republic, see HK CR
