Events planned for the second half of 2007?
The Czech Gas Association is preparing a number of technical events for its members and other gas industry stakeholders.
CGA’s Technical Section
On the basis of the changes in organisation and competencies, effective since 1 January 2006, and the CGA Council’s decision, the Technical Department of GAS s.r.o. was transferred to the CGA, within the organisation of which a new unit was set up as of the same date, namely the Technical Section of CGA. The competencies of CGA’s Technical Section are the same as those of the former Technical Department of GAS s.r.o., i.e., the development of technical regulations for gas facilities (TPG, TDG and TIN); co-operation with the Czech Standards Institute in the implementation of European and international standards on the system of Czech standards (ČSN, ČSN EN, ČSN ISO); preparation of expert opinions addressing technical issues in the field of gas facilities; monitoring and issue of expert opinions on generally applicable regulations relevant for the Czech gas industry; co-operation with MARCOGAZ; and support for education in the field of gas facilities.
