Events planned for the second half of 2007?
The Czech Gas Association is preparing a number of technical events for its members and other gas industry stakeholders.
NGV Coordinating Task Force Centre
The NGV Coordinating Task Force Centre was set up under an authorisation granted by gas distribution companies, Transgas, a.s. and RWE Gas AG in the autumn of 2003. The Coordinating Task Force pursues the following objectives:
- Contribute to seamless co-operation and advanced relationships between all the stakeholders
- In co-operation with all the stakeholders, coordinate the development and implementation of the Natural Gas in Transport project in the Czech Republic so as to make it attractive to the business sphere – investors and operators, as well as a broad group of users
- Win governmental authorities, local self-governments and other initiatives for lasting support for and co-operation in the implementation of the project and leverage their influence for promoting NGV in the Czech Republic
- Help to roll out an adequate infrastructure of refuelling stations, service points and garages, and create an interesting offering of natural gas vehicles and NGV technologies providing the customers with the highest level of comfort and meeting the objectives of transport service levels in an integrating Europe
- Within the Czech Gas Association, help to support NGV technologies, thereby contributing to the development of a stable and profitable natural gas market in the Czech Republic
- Carry out the tasks under Czech Government Resolution No. 563 of 11 May 2005 and the Agreement of 16 March 2006, geared towards more widespread use of natural gas as an alternative fuel in transport
