Český plynárenský svaz (Czech Gas Association, CGA) is an independent association that brings together companies and specialists active in the gas industry and related industries. It is registered with the Civil Administration Section of the Czech Ministry of the Interior, under Ref. No. VSP/1 - 2881/90 - R of 23 October 1990.
CGA follows up on the traditions started by the Czechoslovak Gas and Water Association when it was established in 1919, one of the seven founding members of the International Gas Union (IGU) in 1932.
