Events planned for the second half of 2007?
The Czech Gas Association is preparing a number of technical events for its members and other gas industry stakeholders.
On Gas
The first issue of the magazine appeared on 15 May 1921 under the title Gas and Water. In the subtitle it was described as a technical magazine for the gas industry, water industry and municipal utilities. The magazine has been published ever since (although its name has changed from time to time), and is one of the world’s oldest continuously published gas magazines.
On 1 January 1994 its current publisher, Czech Gas Association (Reg. No. 00409928) took over the publication of Gas. After its establishment in 1990 the association accepted its succession to the Czechoslovak Gas and Water Association.
The Gas magazine currently appears as a monthly 11 times a year (a double issue appears during the summer holidays). The magazine has 24 full-colour A4 pages.
The magazine is registered as a periodical with the Czech Ministry of Culture under Ref. No. MK ČR E 2861, and also as a periodical under ISSN 0032-1761 in the ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) system.
Focus
Gas brings articles on the gas industry’s business, legislative, economic, marketing and personnel issues, gas technologies and equipment, and on related industries, and articles on technologies used in the gas industry (for example, IT); it also reports on important events in the Czech and international gas industry.
Advertising in Gas
Gas publishes mainly advertisements directly or indirectly related to the gas and related industries and services. It also accepts PR articles promoting new technologies, new equipment, and new services.
The Gas magazine’s offices accept advertisements. They will also provide more details on the applicable rates and discounts for corporate members and for repeated advertising.
