Events planned for the second half of 2007?
The Czech Gas Association is preparing a number of technical events for its members and other gas industry stakeholders.
Activities in the Czech Republic
- Technical and Programme committees’ technical activities
- Commissions the development of, and participates in the approval process for, technical regulations in the gas industry (Technical Coordination Commission)
- Membership of an independent board that approves regulations
- Produces a gas industry magazine, Plyn (Gas) – the only such periodical in the Czech Republic (since 1921; circulation 3,000)
- Organises conferences, seminars and workshops with international participation
- Produces non-periodical technical publications
- Operates CGA’s website at www.cgoa.cz
- Organises annual Autumn Gas Conferences on current topics for CGA members as well as interested non-members, accompanied by exhibitions of gas equipment and related IT
- Communicates with state administration, the Energy Regulatory Office, and other specialised organisations
- Communicates with non-government non-profit environmental organisation and other specialised organisations
- Cooperates with universities (supports their scientific efforts), secondary schools, and vocational schools
- Cooperates with foreign specialist organisations and congress agencies; arranges for speakers and delegates for conferences in the Czech Republic
