The Czech Gas Association is preparing a number of technical events for its members and other gas industry stakeholders.
About CGA
Český plynárenský svaz (Czech Gas Association, CGA) is an independent association that brings together companies and specialists active in the gas industry and related industries. It is registered with the Civil Administration Section of the Czech Ministry of the Interior.
In 1992 Český plynárenský svaz (Czech Gas Association, CGA) followed up on the diverse activities of its predecessors, who had founded the Czechoslovak Gas and Water Association in Czechoslovakia as early as 1919 and co-founded the International Gas Union (IGU) in 1932. CGA currently brings together more than 80 trade associations and companies operating in the gas industry and almost 350 individual members, most of them pre-eminent gas experts.

| 2001 | Change of name from Czech Gas and Oil Association (CGOA) to Czech Gas Association (CGA). |
| 2005 | CGA accepted as an associated member of the Czech Chamber of Economy |
| 2006 | Purchase of ownership interests in GAS s.r.o. from RWE Transgas, a.s. and regional distribution companies. CGA becomes the owner of GAS, s.r.o. |
